Premium jewelry brand Diagold celebrates eight years of A Brilliant Union as the official wedding ring sponsor of the Cebu City Annual Mass Wedding.

Since the partnership began eight years ago in collaboration with the Cebu City government and the Cebu City Women and Family Affairs Commission (CCWFAC), Diagold has sponsored premium silver rings for over 800 couples who got married at the Cebu City Annual Mass Wedding.

Diagold Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Ty said of this partnership, “This is a personal commitment as a homegrown brand with our roots in Cebu. We believe that every couple should have a memento to mark a very important milestone in their lives. It is an honor for Diagold to do this for our fellow Cebuanos. It gives a lot of sentimental value to us and our team that almost 850 households in Cebu have a memento of their special day from Diagold.”

Diagold President Harry Ty said that this sponsorship of rings for the Cebu City Annual Mass Wedding is one of Diagold’s several initiatives for corporate social responsibility. “Every week, we also visit Children’s Haven to provide support not only for their physical health, but also for spiritual health and moral values.” This is part of the team’s shared vision to build stronger family ties and support communities in Cebu.

Cebu City has sponsored mass weddings since 2007, usually held in September of every year during National Family Week. Maricar Bontuyan, executive director of the CCWFAC, said that applications are still open for couples who wish to join the 2026 mass wedding. Among other requirements, couples need to prove that they have been together for at least five years. Interested applicants may visit the CCWFAC office at the Executive Building of Cebu City Hall.

During the application process, couples submit their ring sizes so their wedding bands are sure to fit them perfectly. If Diagold customers need to have their rings resized, they can visit the boutiques for assistance.
