Bai Hotel is officially celebrating its 8th year, and they’ve lined up 8citing new treats and events for everyone to enjoy!

Let’s start with what everyone loves most—the food. The highlight of the night was something straight from Paris to Cebu—the giant croissant that’s been trending all over Europe. And I think bai Hotel is the very first in Cebu to offer it. Imagine starting your morning with that huge, flaky, buttery goodness. The croissant includes different jams, marmalades, fruits, and butter, if you want it to be classic or traditional. Of course, don’t forget to order your coffee or hot chocolate to complete the experience.

And speaking of French favorites, they also brought in one of my craved dessert—French crepes. Both the croissant and the crepes are freshly made to order, so you know you’re getting them at their best. You can find them at the Lobby Lounge, with crepes priced at 250 pesos and the giant croissant at 1,100 pesos. Just a tip—if you plan to try the croissant, order in advance since it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to bake fresh. But trust me, it’s worth the wait.

Now, moving over to Café Bai. The dining experience here has been elevated with new additions to the menu. Two things really stood out for me. First, the salad bar. Their greens are fresher than ever because they’ve gone sustainable—using their very own hydroponic garden. That means farm-to-table salads every time you order. Second, and probably the most exciting for those with a sweet tooth, is Cebu’s very first Teppanyaki ice cream station inside a buffet. Yes, you heard that right. You can choose your flavors, mix and match, and watch as the chef prepares your ice cream right in front of you—it’s as fun to watch as it is to eat.
