Cebu City has unveiled a new destination for food lovers and culture enthusiasts—Pusô Village.

Located beside the historic Compania Maritima and across Senior Citizens Park, this vibrant hub is more than just a dining destination. It’s a celebration of Cebuano heritage, flavors, and community, offering visitors a unique way to experience the city’s rich culture.

A Culinary Journey Like No Other

At Pusô Village, every corner is a feast for the senses. The hub is thoughtfully designed to showcase Cebu’s culinary treasures, with curated sections that highlight the region’s most iconic dishes:

  • Dalang Sinugba: A paradise for grilled food lovers, where the smoky aroma of freshly cooked dishes fills the air.
  • Litson Avenue: A tribute to Cebu’s world-famous lechon, featuring specialties from Carcar and Talisay—crispy, flavorful, and undeniably irresistible.
  • Taugna Satangrubu: A haven for local comfort food, serving hearty dishes like balbacua and paklay steeped in tradition.
  • Nagasa: A seafood lover’s dream, offering the freshest catches from Cebu’s waters, prepared to perfection.

For those who enjoy dining with a view, the mezzanine deck offers a stunning panorama of the Mactan Channel and Cebu’s coastal skyline. It’s the perfect spot to savor your meal while soaking in the city’s beauty.

Where Culture Meets Sustainability

Pusô Village is about indulging in good food and embracing mindful living. The hub is committed to sustainable practices, encouraging clean-as-you-go dining, reusable utensils, and minimal single-use plastics. The village plans to plant 50 Banaba trees in a unique and thoughtful touch, creating a local version of the sakura bloom experience. This blend of sustainability and culture makes Pusô Village a forward-thinking destination that respects tradition and the environment.

A New Chapter for Cebu’s Carbon District

Pusô Village is part of the larger P8-billion Carbon Market redevelopment, a transformative project to revitalize Cebu’s historic Carbon District.

This ambitious initiative, a joint venture between the Cebu City Government and Megawide Construction Corp., seeks to turn the area into a modern urban destination while preserving its cultural essence. Future developments include revitalizing Freedom Park and the Santo Niño Chapel and opening a new Carbon Main Public Market in 2026. The market will feature a 156-slot mechanical parking facility and a state-of-the-art public transport terminal, ensuring a seamless and convenient experience for visitors.

Pusô Village embodies Cebuano warmth, creativity, and resilience. Come hungry, leave inspired, and discover why this modern hub is set to become a new must-visit destination in downtown Cebu.
