After seven years, The Celebrations Fair returns to Oakridge Business Park, bringing together Cebu’s vibrant community of event creatives for a weekend dedicated to planning life’s most meaningful gatherings. Held at the Oakridge Pavilion, the two-day showcase opened on March 14, 2026, offering couples and celebrants a place to explore ideas, meet suppliers, and begin shaping their dream occasions.

Now on its second edition, the fair gathers more than 40 event suppliers—from planners, designers, and stylists to photographers, videographers, beverage providers, and cake artists—creating a dynamic space where guests can experience the latest trends in weddings and milestone celebrations. Designed as a one-stop planning destination, the event allows visitors to connect directly with Cebu’s trusted event professionals and discover creative possibilities for everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations.

Mounted in partnership with TCarcel Events, the fair highlights a diverse lineup of suppliers who are helping shape the evolving landscape of Cebu celebrations. Throughout the pavilion, curated booths showcase contemporary styling ideas, event concepts, and services tailored for weddings, birthdays, debuts, and corporate functions.

Visitors can also take advantage of exclusive Book & Buy perks available only during the fair. Guests who book participating suppliers may enjoy 10 percent off services, free corkage when booking the Pavilion, complimentary use of a 13-seater coaster, and no electricity charges for confirmed reservations—practical benefits that make planning celebrations both easier and more cost-efficient.

The opening ceremony was led by Anne Liu, president of Oakridge Realty Development Corporation, together with Vanezsa Redoña and Tonette Carcel. They were joined by notable members of Cebu’s events community including Debbie Huang, April Carillo, and Jeah Baron, reflecting the collaborative spirit that defines the local industry.

In her welcome remarks, Liu shared how Oakridge’s journey into the events industry began more than a decade ago with a modest yet meaningful initiative.

“Good morning. On behalf of Oakridge, I would like to warmly welcome all of you to the Oakridge Celebrations Fair,” Liu said. “Our journey into the world of events began about 15 years ago when we converted a small space in one of our buildings into a 100-seater event hall. It was simple and functional, no frills. But it opened our eyes to the fact that Cebuanos were looking for an affordable place to gather—or a space that felt distinct, a space they could truly make their own.”

From that modest beginning, Oakridge gradually expanded its portfolio of event venues, each designed with a unique character.

“From that humble beginning, we went on to build the Oakridge Pavilion, the Oakridge Horizons, the Oakridge Executive Club, and the Oakridge Studio,” Liu shared. “Each venue with its own charm and character, designed to host celebrations in its own unique way.”

For Liu, the goal has always been to create venues where celebrations feel personal and meaningful.

“From the start, our vision has been very clear—to create meaningful venues where every celebration can be creatively transformed and made personal,” she said.

She also expressed gratitude to the network of collaborators and suppliers who have supported Oakridge’s events through the years.

“Through the years, this vision has been made possible only by the tremendous support of our valued partners, collaborators, and suppliers, many of whom are here with us today. We are truly grateful for your dedication and creativity,” Liu added.

Acknowledging the challenges faced by the industry—from the pandemic to unpredictable weather—Liu also commended the resilience of event professionals.

“Together we have weathered many challenges—from the pandemic to typhoons, from long ingress days to tight deadlines. Such is the exciting world of events. Your passion for your craft is truly admirable, and certainly not for the faint of heart. I believe they all deserve a round of applause.”

As Cebu’s celebrations culture continues to evolve—with couples and hosts placing greater value on curated, personalized experiences—the return of The Celebrations Fair reflects the growing demand for thoughtfully designed events and accessible planning resources.

The Celebrations Fair is happening until March 15, 2026 only, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Oakridge Pavilion in Oakridge Business Park. The event is open to the public, and admission is free.
