At the heart of the celebration is the hotel’s Christmas tree, inspired by the charm of storybooks and the worlds found within their pages. More than a holiday display, The Grand Christmas Library serves as an invitation to slow down, open a book, and make room for stories amid the festivities of the season.
The initiative also extends beyond the hotel’s holiday décor through a partnership with Lost Books Cebu. Activities planned throughout the season include a pop-up book market and book donation drives aimed at promoting reading and expanding access to books within the community.
Through these efforts, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino hopes to encourage more people to engage with reading and support initiatives that make books more accessible to others. Complementing the season’s celebrations, we’ve prepared festive buffet spreads and a variety of special holiday offerings across the hotel’s dining outlets for guests to enjoy with family and friends. From November 26 to 28, UNO’s dinner buffet will feature roasted turkey with accompaniments to celebrate Thanksgiving.
For the Christmas and New Year holidays, guests can gather over special buffet spreads at UNO on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Lunch is priced at PHP 1,488 per person, while dinner is available for PHP 2,588 per person. Those seeking a more intimate Christmas celebration may enjoy La Gondola’s five-course Christmas set menu, paired with a glass of red wine, for PHP 3,800.
The holiday season also brings back familiar Filipino Christmas favorites through the hotel’s Puto Bumbong and Bibingka House, along with traditional pamainit offerings for guests attending Simbang Gabi. Madeleine adds to the festivities with an assortment of freshly baked holiday goodies, with prices starting at PHP 60. For celebrations at home, guests may also bring the festivities to their tables with special takeaway selections from the hotel’s dining outlets, featuring dishes ideal for sharing, with prices starting at PHP 5,300.
